Stewardship Commission

STEWARDSHIP COMMISSION 

The Parish Stewardship Commission serves as a standing Commission of the Parish Pastoral Council. This Commission is advisory and consultative to the pastor and collaborates with all other commissions and committees of the parish to ensure the ongoing life-long education, formation, conversion and facilitation of stewardship as a way of life within the lives of individual parishioners and the parish as a whole.

Stewardship Commission Member
Become part of the commission that works with the pastor and parish staff along with other commission members to give direction to the parish,  Help create long and short-term goals for the parish.  Time commitment is 1.5 hours for monthly meeting, other meetings may be necessary throughout the year.  

Parish Print Communication
Help create written materials for parish use as needed.  This includes entrees for the bulletin, parish newsletters, end-of-year reports as well as the creation of brochures, flyers etc.  Time commitment is flexible.  

Photography and Video
Photographs are needed for the parish newsletter, bulletin, website, or other publications.  Help the parish capture memories, special moments , and activities of various parish functions through taking pictures and  video.  If you are attending a parish event, please consider bringing you phone/camera and capture those great shots that lead to thought provoking stories.  This is a very flexible "as needed" time commitment.      

Stewardship Education
Assist with creating brochures, flyers, and presentations to help with the annual parish stewardship renewal process plus year-around messages for the bulletin, website and other social media to keep the stewardship message alive and  fresh.  Time commitment if on-going and flexible.

Lay Witness Presenter
Sharing your stewardship faith story with the parish as it relates to giving of time & talent and/or treasure.  This is usually a one-time-only experience - speaking at all three Masses one weekend during the stewardship renewal  efforts. (Time,  Talent, or Treasure).  Skills needed: openness to speaking about your personal  faith story and enthusiasm about your faith.  Training and guidance are provided.
